We are ImmunoSensation
The University of Bonn and the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases within the Helmholtz Association (DZNE) jointly exploit the new research space of the Cluster of Excellence ImmunoSensation2.
Flanking the central 25 core applicants, research groups of the Medical Faculty and of the Life & Medical Sciences Institute of the Mathematical and Natural Sciences Faculty of the University of Bonn have extended their collaboration to groups of the DZNE, to form a strong research cluster in immunology, enriched with expertise form neighboring fields such as biophysics, sensory systems, and neurobiology.
Interinstitutional cooperation
The partners jointly agree that the Cluster of Excellence ImmunoSensation2 is an interdisciplinary, interfaculty, central organization of the University of Bonn with one non-university partner - the DZNE. The participants have agreed to jointly cooperate on the scientific and structural goals of the Cluster of Excellence, including the research program, the technological platforms, the recruitment of professors and junior research group leaders, the promotion of gender equality, the support of young researchers, the international networking activities, the transfer of research results to commercial partners, and public outreach.
